We have now been on ITIKI for 5 weeks, and underway for 4. Seems strange to say I have not slept "on land" for all that time! La Rochelle seems like a lifetime ago and we have done 1302nm, Sydney to Hobart and back (plus a bit!) I felt a little queasy on our first day in the Med, with a whole new roly-poly easterly swell to get used to, but otherwise no real issues on that front.
Here is an article I wrote in La Rochelle for SAILS magazine introducing our journey. It seems like a lifetime ago! If you are not already a subscriber I can highly recommend it. Always a great read!

Hi Lynda,

Just caught up again and enjoyed "The Voyages of Itiki" and have taken up your suggestion to subscribe to Sails - I have been out of touch since Australian Sailing was closed. Glad to hear your getting used to standing watches but remember the old rule of "one hand for you and one for the boat" at all times at sea (and sometimes in port) & you will not find yourself on an involuntary path that ends in the drawing of blood! Look forward to hearing more about your travels around the Med. Keep up the good work on the Blog as well as working on a new top speed - go for it on your watch!
